    Hey, I’m Jingyi (call me Jing — Jingle without the ‘le’), and I’m your President this year!! As President, I will be overseeing the day-to-day running of the club, and building a conducive and friendly training environment for all of you. I strive to make OUFC a welcoming and safe space, and to support you in achieving your fencing goals. I love to meet new people, so please feel free to reach out for a coffee (or hot choc in winter), and don’t hesitate to ask me anything, OUFC or non-OUFC related :D I’ve been fencing for 2 years, and been with OUFC for 1 year.

  • Freddie Leslie - Secretary

    I'm Freddie, a sabre fencer and the club secretary, which means my job is to make lots of lists! I am in charge of organising stash and new kit, as well as keeping track of members and putting out information through social media. I’ll also be helping out coordinating the running of the club and generally acting like I own the place.

    Hi I'm Kim and I'm the Women's Blues Captain this year. I'll be selecting the women's teams, coordinating their matches and organising pre-season and training throughout the year. I've been fencing since I was 6 years old (foil for the first 10 years and épée ever since) and been at OUFC for 1 year.     Hey! I'm Ming. I'm from Sydney, Australia and I am a two-time member of the Men's Blues Team. In the 2025/26 season, I will be the Men's Captain. Along with the Women's Captain, I am in charge of organising training sessions, BUCS competitions and team selections for both the men's Blues and Assassin's teams.
    I will also be involved in coaching both the beginners and intermediate sessions and delving into club history!
    I have been fencing for 9 years, 2 of which have been at OUFC!


    Favourite OUFC Memory:Travelling to Durham in 2024 with a three man squad to fence all weapons in the Men's Blues League knockout competition - 17 hours well spent!

    Hi, I’m Lucie, a second year AMH student at Queens, and I’m one of OUFC’s social sec along with Eloisa. Our main aim this year is to make sure OUFC is as inclusive and fun as possible. We’re aiming to have multiple different types of socials a term so that the club can spend some time together outside of training and therefore create a nice and fun environment. I hope to see you there!

    Hey! My name is Audrey, I'm a postgrad student and this is my second year in Oxford. I came back to fencing last year after a three year break, and couldn't be happier with my OUFC experience. I fenced foil and epee for the W2s last year and was welcomed in right away to this wonderful club. I ran for Welfare Rep this year because I wanted to ensure people felt as welcomed and supported as I did when I arrived. If you have any questions or concerns, just drop me a line!     As the beginners secretary, I believe it is my job to make the club more inviting to the new faces. To that end, I will act as a point of contact between the beginners fencers and the wider fencing club, including the comittee, attempting to answer any questions that beginners have, or connecting them to people who can.

    Favourite OUFC Memory: I really enjoyed the Beginners Varsity tryouts. Even though I didn't make the team, fencing electrics for the first time was amazing.
